Soda water pool is one of the favorite tour place by the tourism if visit to Tarutung. The other name of Soda Water Pool by the Tarutung people is Aek Rara (Red Water) that located in Parbubu village.
This place is so very different with the other place, because the taste the water in this pool like Soda that can make the nose and eyes fill sick if drinking this water. As information to the tourism to showering in this pool, do not say the bad words. It’s the warning condition in this place.
With the wet rice field vew, the fresh natural, fresh air and the beautifully view to Siatas Barita Hill and Salib Kasih (The Love Cross), can see from the Aek Rara.
So many people visit to Aek Rara if peak season. The people come to this place main from local tourism and sometimes the international tourism. So very not perfectly if come to Tarutung without visit to Aek Rara.

Sihobuk is the peanut that can found and buy in Tarutung and Ulos, too. The the other place that can visit as well as the Aek rara, those are : Aek Rangat (Hot Spring) Pool in Sipoholon and Hutabarat, too.
